Arrived in Japan

Arrived in japan yesterday so obviously not had time to check out the wildlife.
I had a spot of luck bumping into a German TV programme maker who is very familiar with the hokkaido area and good places for Bears, Cranes and Stellers sea eagles. He has promised to send me the names of guides and boat operators they have used. Late february is the best time to visit this northern island as the sea freezes and the Sea eagles are driven south looking for food.
